The Ministry of Education and Science has signed memorandum of cooperation according to which the teachers in Kyrgyzstan will be included in the festival organizing committee to participate in the organization of the festival screenings at schools and universities. The festival will train the teachers at the workshops, will provide films for screenings and will issue handbook for the hits and discussion with audience of festival

In order to improve the legal culture and civic education in schools and universities of Kyrgyzstan. The parties decided to organize screening of actual social and legal films

The teacher will organize screenings of documentaries at schools and universities of country е to do this more effetely , the parties agreed to hold a training seminar for teachers in April which will cover the festival.

As a result of seminars and work, we plan to publish a manual on conducting demonstrations and discussions with audience of festival “Bir Duino”

After discussion and mutual concession, the parties came to the following text of agreement.










Memorandum of Cooperation.

This contract is between the Ministry of Education and Science and International Documentary Film Festival on Human Rights “Bir Duino”.


The purpose of the contract: Improving the legal culture and civil education in schools and universities of Kyrgyzstan through the viewing current socio – legal films.

Ministry of Education and science of Kyrgyz Republic undertake to:
• Provide the ability to display selected documentary films of “Bir Duino” festival in educational institution in Kyrgyzstan.
• To select for the screening of documentary films 20 schools (14 from 7 regions and 6 from Bishkek city) in 2011 and 2012.
• To select 20 teachers who will organize screenings of documentary films at schools in 2011 year and 20 teachers in 2012 year.
• To send 20 teachers to the 2- day workshop in Bishkek city in April month in 2011 year and 20 teachers to the workshop in 2012.
• To select 15 high school’s teachers, who will organize screenings of documentary films in universities of Bishkek in 2011 and 15 teachers in 2012.
• To send 15 high school teachers from Bishkek in April month for one day workshop in Bishkek city and 15 teachers in 2012 year.


The organizers of International Documentary film festival on Human Rights “Bir Duino” undertake to:
• Provide documentary films on human rights for 96 screenings, 2 schools from each region of Kyrgyzstan in 2011 and 96 screenings in each region of Kyrgyzstan in 2012 year.
• To train selected teachers in 2- day workshop in Bishkek in 2011 and to train selected teachers in 2- day workshop in Bishkek in 2012.
• Assume all costs of workshop for school teachers (travel, meal, and hotel).
• To teach selected teachers on the one day seminar in 2011 and 2012 years.
• Assume all costs of workshop for Bishkek’s high school teachers.
• To issue together with schools’ teachers and universities’ teachers handbook for the hits and discussion with audience of “Bir Duino” festival.
