The festival of documentary films in Naryn and At – Bashi city was planed from 1 till 4 of October. Opening of the festival was to be held in 1 of October in “Son - Kol” theatre, but in reason of intervention of GSNB representatives the first day of festival was sabotaged.

The organizers were told that the electricity is off in the theatre because of unpaid, although occupancy of the place for screening was previously agreed and paid for.
When spectators gathered near the theatre to watch documentaries they were not allowed and then they were dispersed.
Did not get any positive reaction from administration of theatre organizers decided to screen films in Nary State University. Rector of university allowed show documentaries in auditorium for 50 persons and at 1 a.m. began screening for students.

But in 20 – 25 minutes of screening the first film “The happiness cradle” the rector of educational and youth program of NSU Maeram Akmatalieva sabotaged screening in rude form.
After the first day when festival was teared in Naryn city, the second day of festival was holding in At – Bashi city. Screening in At – Bashi began at 11. 00. In House of Culture. The target group was school children teachers 200 spectators.

In this day was screening following films the first film “The happiness cradle” by Kyrgyz Director Asel Juraeva. Then were screening: “the wish to come back home”, “Shoeblack”, “Talykpas - ata”. In this village spectators were mostly children in 12 – 13 age and watching films with great interests and in connect with this were showed films on children’s rights.
The third festival’s day in Naryn city continued in Ak – Myz village At – Bashi region in the hall of secondary school by Bogachi Jakybek Ulu where were more than 300 spectators. In this day were screened 6 short films: “Almaz”, “The wish to come back home”, “Salamatcizby apa”, “Shoeblack”, “Country and state”, “The happiness cradle”, “The way to the star”.
In general festival in Naryn city were visited by 860 spectators.
